STEVE - FBCC Student Worship Team

STEVE is our Student Worship Team. We formed in 2007 under the direction of our Student Pastor, Lonnie Trembly, our Worship Pastor, Mark Warnock and Matt Trembly. Our Genre is Contemporary Christian Praise and Worship.

We named our team STEVE one Wednesday night during Bible study when one of our leaders jokingly said, "Hey, we should name it STEVE." A few minutes later, another leader got up and told us that she led a man to Christ the day before while she was walking through the halls of a hospital with her terminally ill sister. Her sister was overjoyed and said her illness was worth it so that this ONE man could be saved. His name was Steve. We have been STEVE ever since.

We have had the pleasure of playing at several churches and youth events around Illinois and even got to play in Bulgaria during a mission trip in 2009. We can't wait to see where God will lead us next.
